This is the Necron Skorpekh Lord from the Warhammer 40k Indomitus Box, painted in my spooky-purple Necron colour scheme. Instead of glazing his blade, I used my airbrush and a bit of masking tape to achieve the shinning effect.
Steps for his blade where; 1) basecoat with Vallejo Black Primer. 2) Followed by airbrush Vallejo Model Colour Violet. 3) Then airbrush 1/1 mix of Vallejo Model Colour Pink and Fluorescent Magenta. 4) Mix in some Vallejo Model Colour Gloss White into the leftover pink mix for the brightest parts. 5) And finally, edge highlight the blade with Vallejo Model Colour Gloss White.
